Nadia El-Masry chairs Tavra Group and leads its shareholder-governance and long-term investment agenda. She began her career in corporate banking before joining a family-owned industrial group, where she worked across treasury, investment planning and board governance. In 2008, she co-founded Tavra Advisory with a clear premise: strategic advice should be connected to operating responsibility. The advisory business later became the core of Tavra Group as it expanded into engineering, logistics, industrial products, education and social-impact programmes. As Chairperson, Nadia focuses on portfolio direction, capital discipline, succession and the quality of governance across Tavra’s operating units. She chairs the Group Investment Committee and the Responsibility and Ethics Committee. She is particularly involved in investments that combine commercial sustainability with workforce development or essential services. Nadia also advises family-business owners on governance transitions, shareholder alignment and the relationship between boards and management. She has served as an independent board member for privately held manufacturing and education organisations in Egypt and the Gulf. Her approach is grounded in clear decision rights, reliable reporting and patient institution building rather than short-term financial engineering.
